Wild flowers and teepees

I am so happy that the weather is getting warmer. After school yesterday, we went with some friends to a clearing in our favourite bluebell wood. The clearing is full of teepees that people have made and just takes your breath away as soon as you see it! I remember when i found it. I was with my same friend and i had the urge to go exploring across the stream in the woods. I walked up the bank on the other side and saw these amazing clearing with around 10 different teepees. I remember shouting out for my friend and being so excited that i was shaking! I was so happy to go back their yesterday and let all the children play. Elle and her friend made a new teepee and Mia and her friend spent a lot of time eating biscuits inside another teepee. It is such a peaceful place and the birds were singing so loudly. I ventured off for a bit in search of wild flowers to collect in the basket and i was also looking out for birds nests and hatched eggs. We are going to head back there in a few days with a picnic to explore more of the wood surrounding it.

I did some filming and only ended up taking a few pictures. I went with the idea of making a short video so i didn't really take many photographs at all but i love the film clips. I am going to make sure that i take the girls on at least one after school adventure until the summer holidays. It was so lovely to see Elle running around care free without worrying about school work and reading. I really cannot wait to get back here and to fill the basket up with more treasures! I hope you enjoy the video.
