An Easter mobile DIY

Recently, I created a DIY for the Harvey's furniture store website. I wanted to do something that was simple to make yet was ideal for both Easter and Spring. I decided to make an Easter wire hanging mobile. It is so easy to make and you can see my diy over on the Harvey's furniture website. Perfect to hang in the corner of a room or above the dinner table on Easter Sunday.

Harvey's is holding a social competition, giving their social fans the chance to win a children's tipi playden from When i was a kid by sharing your own Easter kid's photo projects. The competition starts today and is based around the hashtag #HarveysHandmade. There are three ways you can enter:

Submit a photo of your craft project to either:
  • The Harveys Facebook page (by ‘Comment’ or ‘Post to Page’)
  • Tweet it @HarveysHQ
  • Tag it on Instagram @HarveysHQ
We love crafting and i am always coming up with new idea's to craft with the children. Sometimes though it is so hard to not think about the mess afterwards and it can be a task just to clean up afterwards! The glitter is never in it's normal colour tube and paint often gets on the floor/on their faces/in their hair. I am sharing some of my tips for clearing up mess and protecting your furniture whilst crafting. You can see them here as well as some other mum's top tips too! You can also find tips on Sofa fabric and upholstery care, cleaning and restoring leather furniture and removing scratches from glass.
