I made this video today and it took me back to those days. The day with the low hazy sun in the buttercup field. The day we found the most perfect cow parsley wood and the day where Elle asked me if she looked like a real fairy walking along the train tracks. She held the little suitcase and told me she was on an adventure to find neverland.
Photography has always been a huge part of my life but recently, making these little films is becoming a huge passion too. You can capture more of the story with a video than you can with a photograph. I can capture the moment before and after Mia gives me her sweet smile and i can capture Elle picking and making me my very own bouquet of flowers. She then hands them to me for keeps.
These girls are my absolute world and i will treasure these little movies in time for ever and i hope they will too.
Like you, I am only quite recently falling in love with making video. I had always been all about the still image but something about moving images seems to capture children more truthfully somehow I think. I am loving getting used to working with video and I'm so glad I'll have them to look back on.

Hello dear, isn't it wonderful! I used to have a canon 350-D before christmas and i was always so jealous of those that had video mode on their cameras. I am just too excited to make more videos! I love them. xxxx
