Last night, Mia spent her first night in a big girl bed. Mia isn't the greatest at sleeping and wakes around 2 or 3am every morning. We put her down at 7pm and she woke at 7am this morning!! I was so shocked. She just took to it straight away and loved it. I went to get her this morning as she was shouting for me, and she was so cosy and snuggled under her new duvet. She looked so tiny but so sweet in there.
My mum got both the girls a bed each when we put Elle in a big girl bed. We painted Elle's bed white and will be doing the same with Mia's in the next week or so. We picked her up this sweet duvet cover from Ikea yesterday. She has spent most of today jumping up and down on her bed. I think she loves it as she is just like her big sister now. She adores her big sister and just wants to be like her. I am keeping my fingers crossed that tonight is the same and we all get a full nights sleep.
Ohhhh, I'm so glad she's adjusted well, and she is so adorable.

ReplyDeleteAhh, I wrote a similar post the other day! Ethan has been a TERRIBLE sleeper since birth -- waking up in the middle of the night, waking early, just hating bedtime. We moved to a big boy bed a few days ago and it's been blissful, peaceful sleep -- and naps! He hasn't napped in months before this. Isn't it great?!
