A nutcracker tree

Our favourite Christmas tradition "let's decorate a lonely tree". We do this every year and it is truly one of my favourite things to do with the girls. This year, our best friends came with us. The girls were a bit cold and hungry but they still enjoyed themselves. I am thinking about taking the girls on Christmas eve and doing it again.

We went for a nutcracker theme this year. They always make me feel magical at this time of the year. The nutcracker is one of my favourite ballets. We also went to a different forest. I found this little fir tree patch in the middle of a forest in the summer and I knew we had to come back for this tradition. We found a wonderful tree.
