Summer is so nearly here and the weather is warming up. It is my favourite part of the year. Planning picnics, adventures and holidays for the months ahead. Another thing I love is dinner in the garden. Alfresco dining. I love sitting in the garden with my husband and the girls and eating dinner and chatting and laughing and then wrapping ourselves in blankets as it starts to get cooler. Lighting candles and tea lights and just enjoying being with each other. I have so many wonderful memories from over the last few summers of staying up late into the night with friends or neighbours. Blankets around us and a good flow of food and drinks. BBQ's are another of my favourites and setting the table up ready for the evening. I love choosing a centre piece and having a good candle on the table such as this beautiful bird cage i found. It is perfect on it's own or add a nice candle in the middle when the light starts to fade. I also love the tea candle holders. They are perfect for the table or you can hang them in trees or bushes around the garden.
I am already looking forward to the evenings with friends and family and hoping that these wonderful sunny days are here to stay for a while!
