Siblings in December

December. Our last Siblings link up for the year. I wanted to talk about how these two are when i take them out for photographs. These photographs are never staged. I never tell them to hug what to do. This is all them and this is their love for each other. I was showing my husband the pictures on the back on the camera before i uploaded them and i said "they are doing their signature poses again". And that is what it is. They constantly hug, Elle always rubs her nose against the top of Mia's head and Mia always cuddles up to Elle's chest. They throw their arms around each other. They giggle. They kiss over and over again. "No Mia, i want to kiss YOU" "No Elle, i want to kiss you FIRST". They fight over who gets to cuddle who. Who gets to kiss who first. I just smile and take pictures and let them fight with their love for each other.

That first picture made my heart go when i came across it whilst looking through the images. It is them. It is their love. It is their siblings bond.

At the end of December, i cannot wait to share our yearly round up of the sibling pictures. It is always one of my favourite posts to do at the end of the year. Watching their love grow and grow in every picture i look at.

"Siblings" is a monthly link up where myself and 6 other bloggers all share a photo of their children and then we each send you off to look at another blog. You can then go around in a circle, viewing all of the wonderful photographs and then why not link up yourself if you have two children or more! This month, i am sending you over to the amazingly talented Annie from Fable and Folk. I have had the wonderful pleasure of meeting her and her two little ones with the girls and they had one mighty big adventure in the forest!

  3. Oh my word just found you over at Space for the Butterflies who I found when she commented on my latest post (which has nothing to do with siblings lol.) This is just gorgeous. My heart popped when you described them 'fighting' over their love for one another. Just gorgeous. And that wood! I live in the Med now...how I miss the British Autumn and LEAVES! Never really appreciated them until I started somewhere that has no trees! x

  8. Oh I think these may be my favourite of your sibling photos yet! You can just tell from their body language that they're not posed or prompted and it's lovely to see the fierceness of their love for each other. What a wonderful way to end the year!
