Siblings in November

I want to be apart of this little sister club that these two have got going on. On our journeys home from school, they both exceitedly talk about what happened during the day and lots of "Elle Bell, i saw you today in the playground" and "We had the same lunch today at school and i got to sit with you" and "So and so did this today, did you see it too?"

I honestly feel left out! They are sharing this whole world together that i am not apart of and it is just making them closer and closer than ever. The fact that they share teachers, friends and stories that is just for those two is something that i hard to accept. I love though that we are a little threesome at home. Gilles works away a lot and especially at weekends so it is normally just the three of us. I love just going on drives with them and us telling each other funny stories and laughing until our tummies hurt. I love sharing adventures with them and i love creating amazing memories with them but i know that their bond is nothing like the bond we all have. It is something completely different. Something that is special to them. Sometimes i go and check on them in the evenings and one has sneaked into the other bed and they are giggling under the covers. It does make me smile. I really do think they are always going to be close and the best of friends.

"Siblings" is a monthly link up where myself and 6 other bloggers all share a photo of their children and then we each send you off to look at another blog. You can then go around in a circle, viewing all of the wonderful photographs and then why not link up yourself if you have two children or more! This month, i am sending you over to Katie who shall be adding a third little sibling to her family really soon!!!

  1. Oh I love these, such soft and tender captures. I felt a little like that when Kit and Oz both started school - like I wasn't in their gang!
