A few weeks ago, Wicky.com sent us this amazingly wonderful wooden sand pit. It flips open at the top to create two benches to play on. We live right in the middle of England and it is a few hours away to the nearest beach. The girls love playing in the sand and i know we are going to have such amazing memories with this sandpit! Even my niece and nephew loved playing it it.
It took around an hour to put together without much difficulty.and we also got the plastic sheet that you put down underneath the sand. The girls had such a blast playing in the sand and my baby nephew even loved playing too!
We cannot wait for next summer already as i know that many days will be spent playing in the sandpit and, when it is closed up, it can also double up as a seat for bbq's or garden parties. It really is an amazing invention!

What a great present! I still enjoy a bit of digging in the sand, so I can guess how happy the children were.
ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion though - cover the whole thing with a tarpaulin over the wet weather and the winter. It will protect the wood, but also stop the sand becoming waterlogged and full of green slime!
