Oh my darling Clementine











Meet Clementine. My newest pride and joy! Gilles bought me her from an antiques shop a few weeks ago. She had no saddle and needed lots of work doing to her. We picked her up on saturday but then Gilles went away with work. I have finally gotten around to take her out.  I went on a little bike ride this evening and collected some flowers for the bedrooms. It was so lovely to just be free and i found a wonderful tree in the meadow to sit under. I cannot wait to have more evenings like this!

      I got an old raleigh caprice bike about 7 years ago from the tip for £10 and rode her everywhere (she was called Fifi) but she needed a lot of restoring and we couldn't afford it. Vintage bikes then sky rocketed in price and i have been searching for the last few years. I was so happy to find this one and i was so lucky with the price too :) Keep searching, you will find one. Ebay is great to find old bikes in your area x

    Oh yay oh yay! It is so good to see her and she is SO lovely and you captured her amazingly!! Oh my dear so wonderful. I have been singing Clementine ever since you told me her name :) Isn't that funny you should name your post that :)
