Lately

This week has been about family time, record shopping, vintage fair shopping and dinner parties. On thursday, Gilles took me bike shopping and i found the most perfect run down little triumph bike. The gentleman at the antique shop is going to do up the bike for me. He will add a new saddle, new brakes, new tyres and a basket. I am so excited to pick her up during the week and will be doing a post to show you all. I love her already!!!

Yesterday, i spent most of the day sitting on the floor of different antique shops, with my best friend Hannah, going through records. We both did pretty well, coming home with 5 records each! We both got the same Kate Bush album and i picked up some Enya, Clannad and Bread. After only two weeks of having my records player, i now have 21 vinyls!

Gilles has gone back on tour until wednesday, so i am trying to keep us busy. I will be spending this evening editing wedding photographs and rearranging my craft desk.

I had my third driving lesson this week, and i drove all around the town myself and did parallel parking, which i am so really pleased with. I am feeling a lot more confident behind the wheel and just cannot wait to get to the stage where i can take my test, so the girls and i can have a bit more freedom. I am already planning days out for next summer!!! We will be exploring new woods and rivers and finding new meadows and little villages to walk around. It is exciting!
