His day

Happy fathers day to my wonderful husband! Gilles is such an amazing dad to our little girls and i couldn't ask for anymore. I am so glad i got to share this adventure into parenthood with him and i am so excited to see what the future holds for us all!
Gilles worked into the early hours of the morning last night so we let him sleep this morning. We filled up a basket of his favourite chocolates, crafts that the girls have made him and water pistols! We are planning on a water fight. That was Elle's idea! Gilles doesn't like a fuss and prefers to spoil us girls instead so we have just had a nice, quiet family day. We took a walk to some shops, i made up a spanish chicken dinner which is in the slow cooker and now he is having a bath before he has to head back to work later this evening. He works so hard and this time next week, he will be working away for a week. I am really not looking forward to him going at all, but we know he is only working away so we an afford a little holiday this summer. That is why i love him so much. He is so selfless and caring and we love him very much.

  4. Awwwww, I don't think I'll ever stop going all sappy at pictures of daddies with their children. It's something about the big strong man and the small innocent children, and yet knowing that the little person holds all the power I think. Just makes my heart melt. x
