Bluebell days

(music is Elle Graham)

Every year, we go to this wonderful secluded little wood called High wood. It becomes full of bluebells at this time of the year and hardly any one knows about it. There is a very popular bluebell wood down the road from here but to get to this wood, you have to go over a meadow and it is hidden down at the bottom of a hill. It really is the most beautiful of places.
This is the first year we have gone that Elle has really been old enough to explore the woods. She kept saying "I haven't seen anything like this before, it's so magical!" I so wanted to get pictures of the girls sitting in the bluebells but neither of them really wanted their photographs taken and were too busy exploring and running up and down the paths. I didn't want to push them so i didn't really take any of them. I never like to force them to have their photographs taken.
There is this wonderful, handmade teepee right in the middle of the woods and we love it. The girls played hide and seek in there with Gilles. The wood is also completely surrounded by sheep and goat fields. It really is such an enchanting place and i am looking forward to next year already!
