Elle got a native Indian costume for Christmas and has asked for her own feather headband and bow and arrow since. I made her this feather headband this week and i am working on the bow and arrow. The headband was so simple to make. When Elle was at preschool, Mia and i went along the canal and picked up all the feathers we found. I then spray painted the ends gold and added a few dabbled specks of gold here and there. Elle painted the bigger feathers with gold glitter paint also to make them extra special. I then used two pieces of suede to make the headband, gluing the feathers in between Add two bits of lace to tie at the back and you have your very own lovely feather headband.
