I have been taking photographs since I was 15. At the very core of my work, it has always been about trying to tell a story, or trying to create a fairytale. When the girls were young, I so desperately wanted to create magic for them. I wanted them to have beautiful, fairylike photographs to have of them. I could imagine sitting with them and any grandchildren I have and looking back through them and then being so happy that they had those photographs and videos. Now that they don’t want to be on my platforms anymore and don’t want any photos even taken of them, I have turned the camera on myself and promised myself that I will always keep that magic at the heart of all my work.
Your pictures always have such a wondeful, dreamy style.
