Floral water bowls

Over the last year and since having an abundance of flowers in my garden, I have been making floral water bowls. The whole process of gathering them from the garden and then creating the water bowls makes me so happy and they look so pretty out on display as well as lasting well over a week!

They are really easy to do. I have a beautiful rose pie dish that I fill with water and then cut the stems to the head of the flower. The flower heads float easily on the water and can be positioned just how you want. My favourite flowers to use are roses, dahlias, cosmos, poppies, japenese anemone and verbascum but this is where you can be creative and use your own favourite flowers and colours.

This year, I am looking forward to creating seasonal bowls and shall be sharing on here!
