If you go down the lane, through the horse field past Autumn Cottage, up the stone steps next to the church and into the woods where the swans swim on the lake, you will find thousands and thousands of snowdrops. Some of the clusters were closed so tightly and it made me think of fairy lanterns. I wonder if they light up at night time when the stars come out so the fairies and woodland creatures can dance around and around!
