Around 7 or 8 years ago, i made this fabric recipe book. I would sit at my desk at work and just work on the pages, sewing away. I recently came across it in my craft box and showed it straight to the girls. Elle asked if she could help me add more pages and, of course, i said yes. All those years ago, i never would have thought that i would be making more and more pages with the girls with our own favourite recipes on to add to the book. Because i tied it all together with plenty of string, i can add many more pages and i cannot wait to start with the girls. It is going to be another wonderful project for us to do together and our very own recipe book to treasure forever.

ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to make a recipe book for each of the kids so I can give them one when they move into their first home but I keep putting it off. You've inspired me to get cracking because that is gorgeous and I think it would be so special for them to get a recipe book of all their childhood foods when they move out :)
