Isn't this the most wonderful blossom tree you ever saw?? I have never come across a two tone blossom tree before and i spotted this from the woods last week, just across the golf course, and had to go and find it! The girls were mesmerized and loved it. We took a few cuttings to make a blossom crown and the girls collected some petals for Elle's nature journal. I took a few photographs on my iphone.
We are heading back here today and i cannot wait to see how much more blossom has bloomed since last week!
Wow! So beautiful!

It's gorgeous!! I wonder whether the colour will change as the blossom opens or whether it's really two trees growing together?

ReplyDeleteI love blossom, these photos are so lovely. My parents have a gorgeous pink blossom tree in their garden and I can remember gathering bunches of it every spring.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how that got to be a two tone blossom tree. I wonder if someone years ago spliced another one in, or maybe it is just crazy mother nature showing us she can do anything she wants.
