This pond is right on the side of the wood on our way to school. We have been walking past it for months and last week, Elle asked to go down and see it a little closer. We went down, and i sat on the root of the tree, breathing in everything and watching the girls mix potions together in the pond and see who could make the biggest ripples with sticks. Mia, as usual, pretended to fish and Elle was making fairy potions. We have now visited most days after school. We cannot wait for the warmer weather to come in so they can paddle in there and we can set out walnut shell boats on it. Elle has called it the "wishing pond". She likes to name all the places we go to so she can ask to go again and i shall know where she means :)
