One of my hopes for this year is to make more flower crowns. I ordered some florist tape and have been playing around with some crowns i have already made, to see if i can make them better. I have wanted to make a leaf crown for a while and on the way back from the supermarket today, i spotted these bushes with long stems on with little tiny leaves. They are just across from my house and so i snipped a few pieces off and lay them on the radiator to dry. Once they were dry, i sprayed the stems with gold spray. We then went to the market to pick up some ribbons and lace. The stems were dry by the time we got home and i just added a little bit of cream ribbon each side to tie up and voila! I think this is one of my favourites i have made because it is so stunning yet so understated and the gold goes beautifully with Elle's hair! This is a simple one to make and you can do the same with a fake garland. They would also look pretty just as they are but i love to spray everything gold ;)
