Do you remember when you were little playing with those cardboard dress up dolls? Oh, i loved them. I would sit and play for hours and always got excited when i was given new clothes to dress the cardboard doll up with. I was given this Belle and Boo dress up set as a gift a while ago and today, i got it out for Elle to play with. She loves dolls and spends forever playing in her dolls house, so i knew this would go down wonderfully. We read the bubbles before bed book from the Belle and Boo collection every night and she was so excited to play with these. I cut them out for her and let her play. She had a whole little world imagined up, so i just took a few snaps of her playing. This is her new favourite thing. We shall now be saving up to get her the bigger Belle doll. Are any of you Belle and Boo lovers?
We are popping to the shops this afternoon so i can pick up a baking magazine and Elle has already packed up her Belle, Boo and clothes in her peter rabbit tin bag to take with us.
Paper dolls were always so much fun. I'm so glad that she is enjoying her new dolls. Hope you have a great day.

DeletePaper dolls are totally part of my childhood. I have tons of them and I enjoy making and designing my own dresses using paper. Haha! I am happy to see a kid playing such nowadays. It's a way of letting them enjoy the simple things in life rather than spending more time with technology at a very young age. Good job. :)
