Picture an hour

Tuesday 7:00am - We were awake from around 5 yesterday morning but 7 was when Elle woke and came in. We had cuddles and watched a little of the lion king.

8:00am - We went down for breaskfast whilst Gilles got ready for work. Elle and i then looked through some of her craft books to decide what to make that morning.

9:00am Gilles went off to work and Elle asked to make hanging snowflakes. I showed her in the book what she needed to do and gave her the paper and scissors and let her do her own thing. I helped her with the heart but the rest was her. We then hung them up above the sofa in the living room.

10:00am - I had some laundry and washing up to do so Elle lay on her bed listening to her disney songs and reading "Lady Cottington's pressed fairy book". Mia tried to do Elle's puzzle and then proceeded to hold onto my leg whilst i tried to do the chores.

11:00am We went for a walk along the river to collect feathers to make another feather headband for my niece. It is rather sad as an hour later, the police pulled a dead body out of the river just to the left of where Elle was standing in the Loch. We love the loch and Elle was actually standing right next to it, looking in for fishes as she does everytime we go along the water. To think that there was a dead body right beneath where we were looking!!

12:00-2:00pm We had some lunch and Mia went down for a nap. Whilst she was napping, Elle helped me make a headband for her cousin. We did a little reading and we also listened to music in her room.

2:00pm - Mia woke from her nap. I let her and Elle have a little play in Mia's room with the trains and then we headed out to the shops.

3:00pm - We had a wander around the shops and topped up the gas card. I fell in love with this dress and it is now on my "need" list.

4:00pm - I bought Elle a solar system poster from the pound shop whilst we were out. We sat down and talked about space and the planets and then i stuck this to her bedroom door

5:00pm - Whilst i sorted out dinner, i let the girls do some painting. i left the room for minuets and came back to paint everywhere and all over them!

6:00pm - We had dinner and then the girls were put in the bath to get all the paint of them. Both girls then got ready for bed and Mia went to sleep.

7:00pm - This little girl got to have a movie with mummy before bed. We watched Lion King 2 and then she fell fast asleep next to me. The rest of the evening consisted of some blog work, ebay searching and keeping warm under blankets.
